Thomasena Shaw, APR, professor of public relations at Bridgewater State University. Her research focuses on social justice and social activism, sustainability, and crisis management.
Lisa Bergson, APR, assistant professor of communication at Bridgewater State University. Her research interests include crisis communication, organizational reputation, climate communication and the scholarship of teaching and learning in public relations.
The webinar will be moderated by PRSA Greater Worcester Chapter’s president-elect, Cristal Steuer, APR. She is executive director of Strategy & Placement at TVP Communications, where she leads the development and execution of TVP’s media strategy, as well as spearheads its national and trade media relations outreach for its clients.

PRxNE 2024 Conference
The Central New York Chapter of PRSA is honored to present PRxNE2024: PR at a Crossroads (Again), a one-day conference on Friday, November 15, designed for communications professionals at all stages in their careers and students in the PRSA Northeast District. The conference will take place in Syracuse, NY at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. Join a group of 150+ communications professionals from seven states and eight chapters! The Northeast District boundaries extend west to Buffalo, east to Boston, and north to Bangor.
Annual Meeting
Our Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 7, 2024, One Mercantile Center (100 Front Street), 19th Floor, Worcester. The meeting will feature an overview of the past year, an introduction of the 2025 board, and more. Networking and refreshments will be plentiful, as well as the opportunity to check out Venture X Worcester, our generous venue sponsor.
